Cyril Ernest Landscapes is operated by Tony, trading as Cyril Ernest Landscapes, 64a Annetts Hall, Borough Green, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 8DY. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide to us through this website.

2. What data we collect and why
When you submit the contact form on this website we collect:
- Your name — so we can address you correctly when we reply.
- Your phone number — so Tony can call you to discuss your project.
- Your email address (optional) — so we can follow up in writing if you prefer.
- Your project description — so we understand what you need before we call.
We collect this information because you have given us your consent by submitting the form and ticking the consent checkbox. The lawful basis for processing is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
We do not collect this information for any purpose other than responding to your enquiry.
3. How your data is stored and processed
Form submissions are transmitted to a Google Apps Script and stored in a Google Sheet accessible only to us. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We may also receive your details by email. Email is stored in our email provider's servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry records for up to 3 years. If you become a customer, we may keep project records for up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 6).
5. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics services. It does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking scripts.
The contact page includes an optional interactive map powered by Google Maps. This map is not loaded automatically — it only activates when you click the "View Interactive Map" button. If you click to load the map, Google may set cookies and log your IP address in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Fonts used on this site are served from our own server and do not involve any request to Google or any third party.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
